Like our other Maps its main focus is raising literacy levels through reading for pleasure. The jump from Primary to Secondary often sees a dip in reading interest. As mentioned above we believe that reading for pleasure is the best way to increase literacy levels. the more students read, the better their literacy skills. Like all our other Maps its focus is on raising literacy levels through reading for pleasure with 30 brand new titles and authors, hand picked by our librarians. The difference with this map is that its other aim is for parents, carers and school staff to read aloud with their children. This is one of the best ways to encourage children into the world of books as well as improving their literacy from an early age.
