Year 3&4 Reading Road Map
The Year 3&4 Reading Road Map has 40 titles covering 7 genres. As with other maps all of the books other than those on the classics road were written in 2025. Each genre has a range of challenging books to enable lower level readers to improve, and push higher attaining readers.
Each child in the class will receive a copy of the road map.
When a child reads 5 books they receive a Bronze certificate (supplied)
When a child reads 10 books they receive a Silver certificate (supplied)
When a child reads 15 books they receive a Gold Certificate (supplied)
When a child reads 25 book they receive a Platinum certificate (supplied)
The Year 5&6 Reading Road Map has 50 titles covering 11 genres. We have a variety of maps of local authorities as well as a map of the UK. As with other maps all of the books other than those on the classics road were written in 2025. Each genre has a range of challenging books to enable lower level readers to improve, and push higher attaining readers.

The Year 7&8 Reading Road Map has 35 titles covering 8 genres. Every book on the Map was written in 2025, and hand picked by our librarians. We make sure that the books on the map ensure that lower level readers and higher attaining readers will find plenty to enjoy and challenge them.
